Al joined the board of the Golden Horseshoe Chapter in September 2005. He is currently also on the board, and President of Halton Condominium Corporation No. 360. Al makes a valuable contribution to the GHC board with the "directors" perspective.
Al has a great deal of experience in helping us with organization and with media relations, having been with the Hamilton Spectator from 1956 until 1993. Al has been Manager of Sales, Circulation, and the Director of Health and Safety during his long tenure with the Spectator. Al has also served on several other boards in the community and professionally, including Junior Achievement, the Canadian Circulation Managers Association, the International Circulation Managers Association and the Royal Canadian Humane Association. If that is not enough - Al was active in the past with with the United Way and the March of Dimes. The GHC is lucky to have such an experienced director on the board.
